Couple Noticed Their Feet After Walk On Beach, Doctors Refused To Help

Image
Few things are more romantic than a walk on the beach — unless you have the same experience as this couple. When they got home and saw their feet, they gasped. When you see the photos, you just might too. The worst part? Doctors refused to help them after they realized what caused it. When Eddie Zytner and Katie Stephens took a romantic trip to the Dominican Republic, they never imagined a trip to “somewhere tropical” would leave them in agony. They had no idea how walking barefoot on the beach put them at risk. But, when they returned home, they found out first-hand just how bad the beaches can be. We’ve all heard countless goose-bump-inducing stories of people coming back from vacation with mysterious and unfortunate ailments, but we never think it’s going to happen to us. When Eddie and Katie were quickly overcome with “incredibly itchy” feet, however, the couple soon realized that this was no ordinary itch. To their horror, it was a full-blown infestation. It might sound...

Shooting the Civil War sniper’s .451 Whitworth

Image
Designed in the mid 1850s, the .451 Whitworth was a single-shot muzzle loader often known as the world’s first sniper rifle. Frequently used by Confederate sharphooters, the Whitworth proved to be as accurate at 1,100 yards as the Enfield at 500 yards and had a maximum firing range up to 1,500 yards. It’s most unique feature is arguably the rifling which uses a hexagonal cross-section. Matched with a hexagonal round, the rifling would not “bite” into the bullet. The Whitworth’s bullet was longer and heavier than comparable ammunition. The Whitworth used a narrower bore than the Enfield’s .577 caliber. The bullets were longer, more slender, and more stable over longer ranges than other rifles of the time. General John Sedgwick was shot and killed while probing skirmish lines at the Battle of Spotsylvaian Court House. About 1,000 yards from the Confederate sharpshooters, Gen. Sedgwick chastised his staff and artillerymen for ducking or looking for cover. His now infamous last ...

Shooting Asian Carp with a Shotgun [VIDEO]

Image
Asian carp are an invasive species that have overtaken many waterways in the Midwest. They first brought to the US to keep private ponds clean, but they did not stay in the private ponds. Rivers flooded and engulfed the ponds and the fish were able to establish themselves. State wildlife departments have tried almost everything to eradicate them and stop their spread. Most of the efforts have failed, but the departments are still encouraging sportsmen to remove them by any means necessary. The fish has a very unique habit of jumping out of the water when they hear a boat motor. This has led to some interesting ways of killing the fish. Areal bow hunting has become popular and I have seen videos of guys on water skis attempting to cut the fish in half using swords to name a few. So seeing a video of someone using the fish as skeet is not surprising and to be honest looks like fun.

Video Captures Moment Hero Customer Guns Down Robber

Image
Wild surveillance video from inside a Michigan convenience store captured the moment a customer gunned down an armed robber. The hero managed to calmly fire seven shots — all while holding a six-pack of light beer. Cordelius Anthony Martin allegedly attempted to rob the Stone Lake Marathon Mini Mart, where he was stopped by an armed customer. (Photo Credit: Screenshot) An alleged robber, later identified as 35-year-old Cordelius Anthony Martin of Dowagiac, entered the Stone Lake Marathon Mini Mart with obvious ill intent when he walked inside dressed in black and pulled a black mask over his face. But, he would quickly learn that he had picked the wrong place to rob when he selected the Cass County gas station in the town of Cassopolis in southwest Michigan. “You know why I’m here,” Martin allegedly said, announcing himself to the clerk, according to police. He then went behind the counter to threaten the store clerk with a weapon, unaware of a customer who appeared to be ...

Father and son perish while dad struggles to chamber his empty carry weapon

Image
Carrying a weapon without a round in the chamber can be deadly. There are some people who are uncomfortable carrying in conditions 2 through 0, but their concerns can usually be solved with more training, a holster with proper firearm retention, or simply a different weapon. Safety must always come first when carrying a firearm, but if you ever need a firearm to defend yourself you need it right now. Many people who carry in condition 3 or higher assume they will have time to chamber a round when needed. It takes less than a second, right? The victim in the video below learned that half a second can make all the difference in the world. If you happen to be uncomfortable carrying a chambered weapon, don’t start now just because you read an article online. Go get some training. Do some research. Practice constantly. Find the right gear that works for you and be ready to defend yourself if and when the time comes.

Ultra-rare handheld minigun in 7.62 — Hang on and enjoy the ride

Image
Richard at FullMag managed to get his lucky hands on an incredibly rare and fully functional handheld minigun chambered in 7.62x51mm. This thing gets lighter by the second, just keep that trigger down if you can. Richard tests the effectiveness of some AR500 armor against his new toy, but the recoil is almost too much to handle. Watch the barrels rise as he’s pushed back with every trigger pull.

Watch the Bow Mag explosive arrowhead fire a .357 Magnum round [VIDEO]

“The Bow Mag, looks like a bomb and pretty much acts like one.” TWANGnBANG’s assessment of this explosive big game arrow head is on point. This ridiculous weapon combines the best of both worlds. Do you think it’s still legal in bow season?
